I've heard that it works that way but I can't draw on it as personal experience. (Also, I was kinda talking about CRPGs, as I do not design for tabletop.)Whinerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03211731698182417270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4353860428521025722.post-9138428077154336472012-02-29T01:26:33.466+00:002012-02-29T01:26:33.466+00:00Doesn't Ars Magica have this?Doesn't Ars Magica have this?Peter Bensleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15024236047167150154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4353860428521025722.post-19243126479973944672012-02-13T15:34:56.070+00:002012-02-13T15:34:56.070+00:00I considered an MMO like this, a season based game...I considered an MMO like this, a season based game with new campaigns and worlds made from a template. Players would have to assume all roles to make the town successful and beat the game, so while some people would be expected to fight, others would have to make swords, or boats.

It would likely be easier to have it done in a single player game and probably an interesting simulation game like dwarf fortress. But then it’s very hard to have a caravan with all the people needed to have a safe, comfortable life and still travel the world and fight wizards like you see in most RPG’s, harder still to make people care about them from a narrative sense.Ian Nhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11553636906115662297noreply@blogger.com
