many years late to the party

Okay, so this has been out for a long time but I was searching for relaxing games and discovered 'Auditorium', a strange little flash thing where you direct rays of light into targets in order to make pretty piano music. It is, indeed, soothing, while still being enough of a puzzle to satisfy my 'game' needs.

I took a screenshot but it's so pointless without the motion and the sound, you really should just go and look at the flash demo instead.

Mochi Stacker - It takes about three seconds to play. But those three seconds are oddly entertaining. Casual in a nutshell.

Rune Raiders

Little fantasy turn-based tile-based action thingamabob. I couldn't quite call it an RPG even though I know it gets filed that way sometimes, but it's cute and you have wizards and dragons, isn't that enough?

Slick-looking click-and-bash fest due to release shortly. I can't tell if 'barbarian' is your only character option or not, but I'm guessing this isn't exactly meant to be a deep role-playing experience.

Today's google logo is a little ink-doodle playable adventure game in honor of science fiction author Stanislaw Lem.... Unless you're in the US in which case it's probably overridden by Thanksgiving.

Yes, it's just a miniature golf game and there are plenty of those, but the graphics and hole design of this one is really darling.

Realm of the Mad God

I stumbled into this by accident and know nothing about it, but without having to take any time to sign up for anything and a tutorial of, like, a minute, you can be wandering around the world blasting things.



I don't know if there's a point, but it was fun for a few minutes at least!

Features anime-styled characters and, y'know, SPACE. And multiple endings apparently. However, I'd be a lot more interested if it were downloadable, personally... I find it hard to focus on browser games even if I had an account to save my progress.

The Man With Invisible Trousers

I mentioned it on twitter but it's worth saying again, I am enjoying the style of this game. Noir detective platformer with weird physics (you can walk up walls as long as there's a curve, and gravity is wherever you are oriented) an apparently dynamic plot to keep things interesting, and invisible legs to keep you on your unseen toes while figuring out jumps.

Entanglement

A relaxing puzzle game about placing weaving rope tiles to try and make as long and complex a path as possible without running off the edge.

This isn't really a game

It just looks COOL.
